#1: What made you choose a career in bankruptcy law?

I enjoyed finance in college and figured I could help people solve their financial problems through the court system....Bankruptcy is a financial planning tool in my opinion.

#2: In your opinion, what sets your bankruptcy firm apart from other firms in the area?

The people who work here have been clients in the past and understand what new clients are going through

#3: Tell us about a case that you are particularly proud of:

I was able to help out a couple who had a tremendous amount of tax debts and the IRS had been hounding them for years....

#4: What steps do you take to prepare for a difficult case?

We have a checklist that we go through with the clients to prepare for complex and difficult cases.

#5: How do you view your role in the attorney-client relationship?

I view myself as legal counsel of course but I often become emotional support for a lot of my clients

#6: What sets you apart from other attorneys – why is this important?

My ability to keep myself at the same perspective as the regular folks that come in to meet with me.

#7: How does having experience benefit your clients?

I know a lot more about the laws after 17 years of practice then when I first started.

#8: What types of cases do you specifically handle?

We handle bankruptcy cases of all types personal and corporate.

#9: In your opinion, what is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Being able to take a visibly upset client at the beginning of a consultation to a more relaxed less stressed person at the end of the consultation.

#10: What advice do you most often give your clients & why?

I tell them to quit stressing out and that there is a solution to all their financial worries.
